14 Week Checkup: Heard Baby’s Heartbeat!

Today, I heard my baby’s heartbeat for the very first time in my pregnancy. Everything was pretty up to date and healthy. Thank the Lord. I am currently 14 weeks along. All I do now is daydream of what I want to make for this little one. The problem is that I have no idea what I’m having?! I don’t mind neutrals, but once I know the gender I like to go in for the color choices!! I love the bold and the beautiful Hehe.

I have so many sewing ideas! I want to make a baby blanket either with minky fabric or faux fur on the backside, bibs, a carseat cover, hmmm… what else? Oh, when my sister was pregnant, I had made her a set of 4 burp cloths and I want to make those again! Those were fun to make! Super easy and adorable, so I’ll definitely post a tutorial for that one. I also remember making a pacifier holder for her too. Ahhh! So much I want to get started on!!!

Here’s the problem. If we are having a boy, the theme for all his stuff will be the boho style. If we are having a girl, I am going all out with florals, pinks, and shabby chic! Oh yeah!!

We won’t know what we will be having till December. It seems so far away from now! But I will enjoy every moment of this pregnancy. I always enjoyed it. The only thing I didn’t get to enjoy was that I felt useless and unable to help move heavy things around the house. My husband had to do all the heavy lifting and I felt bad I couldn’t help make it easy for him. Anyone else felt this way too during pregnancy?
